Our Tire Repair Policy

- Non-Repairable
- Temporary Repair
- Permanent Repair
Punctures to the sidewall or on the edge of the shoulder and sidewall are not repairable (red zone; please refer to picture above)
Punctures in the center of the tread (green zone) may be considered a permanent repair under certain circumstances but conditions apply, see below:
- The tire has a tread life of above 4/32”
- The tire is less than 6 years old
- The tire does not have any sidewall or shoulder damage
- The tire has not been driven on while flat
- The tire does not have puncture larger than 1/4”
- The puncture does not have a slice that cannot be properly repaired.
- The tire does not have multiple punctures and/or repairs too close to each other.
If all of the above conditions are met and a permanent repair is done, a permanent repair is permanent to the life of the tire (life of a tire is considered expired at or below 4/32″ of tread life for regular tires, and 5/32″ tread life for winter tires)
If all of the above conditions are not met, any repair done to the tire will be considered temporary. And a temporary repair will be done under certain circumstances (for e.g., to buy the customer some time to get to a tire shop to eventually replace the tire and avoid towing costs.)
All punctures at the yellow zone are temporary done in certain circumstances (for e.g., to buy the customer some time to get to a tire shop to eventually replace the tire and avoid towing costs)
Run Flat Tire Repairs are all temporary as it is best to replace them.
* Red Zone: Not Repairable
* Green Zone: Repairable under certain circumstances
* Yellow Zone: Temporary Repair
